I turned 40 in January 2013, and so I began crazily trying new skin care products ALL THE TIME.
Here are a quick few things I found that worked for me:
Best foundation: Neutrogena Clear Skin Line. They have colors that match my skin tone better than
expensive brands. MAC cannot match my skin tone AT ALL. For me:
Liquid base: honey beige
Powder: Natural beige
Spot concealer: Medium
For under eye: Cargo One Base 08 03 works well for me
Best everyday gloss: Sugar's Rose. I love it. Plus it has good ingredients, and makes my lips look younger.
Ulta has $20 micro-facials (20 minutes). I come out looking brighter, exfoliated and glowing and it lasts for days!
Best brightening serum: Ole Henricksen truth serum actually see results quickly
Best scar treatment: Kinersase Scar Therapy.
Tip: use a Baby sun block stick on your eyes for SPF protection on your lids! I am using Baby Pure and Gentle Neutrogena.
